Ellen DeGeneres is taking Paula Abdul's place as the fourth judge on American Idol.
Just one more reason for me to never watch that show ever. I'm being 100% serious right now. I have to know- why do people like Ellen DeGeneres? She has the most annoying personality of all time. Hell, why not just hire on Kathy Griffin while you're at it? American Idol blows.

I love Ellen I think she is one funny lady!!! But I don't understand why she is going to be a judge.She has NO background in singing or anything like that. What is she supposed to do tell jokes....i'm sure all the ppl that watch her show will now be a fan of AI and that will make it a higher rating show.But she shouldn't be a judge on something she doesn't know anything about.
